Are there any international marches? I’m sure many expats would want to stand and march to local embassy’s in support.

What? No march in Geelong? And it’s this weekend… I can’t make it. Did they really pass a law to stop protests midnight last night? This makes me want to march all the more. Please follow up with another march against the illegality of marching. Aussies won’t take this shit. We are a democracy!

Is there a march in Wagga? I can’t make the Sydney one, but could possibly make it to a march in Wagga on the Sunday.

It is indeed refreshing to see the people of Australia speak out and stand up for themselves.
The members of the government are meant to be public servants, they are meant to work for us and represent our will. In fact they are obliged to swear an oath to do so.
When this is manifestly not evident in their conduct and policy, which is to say when policy flies in the face of what the real, street level people actually want, It is our civic duty to call them out. This is actual democracy in action. Fascism can only grow in an atmosphere complacency.
People are the power and the people have spoken.
